Coaching Staff

We are fortunate to have a staff of five experienced coaches, three of whom are Conestoga Boys Varsity alumni players and former coaches. Having a large coaching staff, including a dedicated goalie coach who has trained 30 goalies, enables us to give lots of attention to our players with a focus on skills development at a variety of levels.

Tony Parisi

Head Coach

I am grateful to have made important friendships and learned important lessons through hockey as a player and as a coach.  I was fortunate to play for devoted and talented coaches who gave me chances, and my goal is to help players develop themselves through hockey.

I began skating relatively late, my Freshman Year in high school.  I played for Conestoga High School and for the Valley Forge Colonials and am proud to have been a member of the 1985 Conestoga State Championship Team as a player and the 1997 Conestoga Flyers Cup Championship Team as a coach.  I played two years of junior varsity hockey at Brown University, and during my college years I also played for two silver medal Keystone State Game Teams.  I played men’s league hockey for many years after college.

I coached Conestoga’s Boys Varsity Team from 1991-2000 (with Stag, Scotty and Bob, and we won a Flyers Cup Championship in 1998), and I have also coached many youth sports over the past 10-plus years.  I am excited to coach both Conestoga Girls Ice Hockey and Mighty Moose Club Hockey, now that my daughter, Sophia, is a hockey player.

I hold a Level 4 Coaching Certification from USA Hockey.

Kerry Valdesalice

Asst. Coach

I am thrilled to be part of The Conestoga Girls Ice Hockey program as the newest addition to the coaching staff. Although I may be new to this role, my connection with ice hockey spans 34 years, beginning in Western Pennsylvania as a member of the Westmoreland Eagles Club Team and concurrently playing for the Greensburg Salem Golden Lions High School program, where I proudly served as a four-year varsity letterman and team captain.

Hockey holds a special place in my heart, especially when I'm on the ice alongside my two daughters (Lila and Flora). My commitment is to contribute to the development of both outstanding players and admirable individuals within the team.
